Sometimes a project brief calls for a very special structure that can provide all of the needs and wishes of the occupants and visitors whilst continuing to amaze and delight them with every movement towards and within it. This design is one such building, as six counter rotating Golden Spirals generate a very unusual but remarkably practical internal room and space layout.
The main roof structure, finished in a multi coloured growing sedum, simultaneously seems to wish to kiss the ground as well as touch the sky. The circular play of light generates a sparkling show of ever-changing colour throughout the whole building via many stained glass feature windows.
A domed cupola atop the roof, affords wraparound views in all directions, and hints at a large internal egg shaped central chamber within.
