“I want a home that is made and filled with beauty”
The emergent field of scientific study known as Neuro-Aesthetics is showing us that there are measurable and positive effects on our physiology and psychology when we experience beauty, in the form of natural shapes, proportions and patterns. It may seem that beauty is no longer just in the eye of the beholder; it may actually be a force of change in our lives, and of course, in our homes.
This deceptively simple structure is based on the fractal perfection of the Golden Rectangle, which many consider to be the epitome of beauty. The internal layout consists of a double height main living space, a compact kitchen dining, and an entrance lobby with toilet. Upstairs is a single bedroom mezzanine space with a curved roof and an external balcony. The main south facing wall is a celebration of light, colour and form, as the full panel is divided up into a harmonic grid of solid and window.
This home is ideal for a person or couple who can appreciate the beauty of form and light as one.
