“I want a home where i wake up happy and refreshed”
Whether it be about relationships or environments, one of the primary motivations for human creativity is the desire to be happy. A home that can support you to be happy is a very valuable thing, and one which can make all the difference to your enjoyment of life. Waking up to a sun filled space that forms part of an organic holistic whole can be very refreshing, and generate a sense of happiness within yourself and within the space you inhabit. In this case there is a beautiful correlation between the energetics of the place where you live, and your internal emotional state.
The geometric basis for this dynamic design is cruciform with four equal circles arranged symmetrically around a fifth inner circle. The circle is a powerful form which has the effect of concentrating energy, and when used collectively there is an overall movement and flow within the house that is so much more than the sum of the parts. This harmonic pattern provides ample opportunities for the creation of interesting rooms arranged around a central core which can either be enclosed as a library or gathering space, but could also be reformatted to form an internal courtyard. The possibilities are many. The outside potential is also playfully flexible and can easily accommodate a covered roof patio space between any two circles.
There are four main bedrooms, and a kitchen / dining / living space in the form of an infinity symbol. Light is ever present and concentrates itself nicely as the Sun does its dance around the house. This design combines many elements within a rich context, and invites the occupants to experience the joy of living, and the state of refreshed happiness.
